You have a story to tell, now is the time to share it with the world. Anything and everything is worth reading.

Write your biography, a memoir, share your knowledge, or just makeup a story. Writing your books can be fun doing it, and is something that will live beyond your age and time. This is the number one reason why I write.

It is much easier to publish your books than ever. This was something that belonged to a privileged group of elite once, and with the explosion of the information era, you and I can be authors too. Every subject and every style of writing and every language has its own readers. Sometimes, you just want to leave something behind, and the book is the best gift that you can give to your children and grandchildren.

With the convenience of technology, you don’t need to know everything to become an author. You just need to have the idea. If you have the time and patience for writing, go for it. You can find some good writing or language coaches to guide you through your writing process, or you can invest in a good book from your local book store. If you are not comfortable writing or simply don’t have the time, there are plenty of talented ghost writers that will do the job for you.

After your content is ready, you’ll decide if you want to add images or illustrations to your book. You can take your own images or can invest a small amount for professional quality images and/or illustration. There are a number of online stock images websites that can provide you with what you need.

When you have all the your material ready, you’ll need a desktop publisher, and a cover designer if you can’t do these yourself. You’ll need to put everything together in one file and submit it for printing. Before that, you will need an ISBN identifier number for your book. Many of the self-publishing platforms provide you with free ISBN number or you can purchase your own. If you need to send your copy of the printed book to the Library of Congress, you’ll need to contact them and apply for a catalog number. Once your book is printed, you will send them a copy for their shelves.

The fun part begins when you have your published book or eBook in front of you. You’ll need to know what do to let the world know that you have released your book. There are many avenues for promotion and depending on your demographic and idea, you’ll choose where and how to promote your book.

If you enjoyed the process, now, you’ll think about writing your second book and starting all over again. However, the first time is the toughest and it gets easier as you publish more and more books.

Good luck, and please remember that we can help you publish your idea into a professional looking book or eBook. Please contact us now for free consultation.
